well everyone its been a slow month, not much exciting happening at present but the next couple of months promises to be great with a release by marvel of one of the fastest growing favourites, Deadpool.
there will be a five-issue limited series PRELUDE TO THE DEADPOOL CORPS. One issue hits each week in March, leading to the April launch of the DEADPOOL CORPS ongoing series.
The Deadpool Corps united behind-the-scenes after DEADPOOL: MERC WITH A MOUTH issue #7, which saw Deadpool and the zombified Headpool traveling across the multiverse, meeting alternate versions of themselves. One of the first members of the Corps recruited: the creepily sexy Lady Deadpool, introduced in the aforementioned issue of MERC WITH A MOUTH. Although the female assassin seemed a tad more stable than her regular Marvel Universe counterpart.
Also joining Wade’s wacky band of misfits will be Kidpool, an underage version of the mouthy merc and resident of Xavier’s School for Troubled Orphans. Gischler acknowledges that Deadpool himself already acts rather childlike most of the time. However, the writer says Kidpool takes that core level of immaturity found in all the Deadpools and multiplies it to an nth degree. Heaps of deadpool characters over 5 issues, that’s almost to much to handle.
A group of Deadpools banding together to save the universe definitely seems like a crazy idea. However, before the mercs can kill the big bad, they must first learn to keep themselves from brutally and savagely killing each other. For a group of stage-stealing lunatics that may just prove to be the biggest challenge of all.
We at comics online are very excited about this one. Keep checking in for more info.

Here’s some more exciting news, one of our favourite series here at comicsonline is Marvel Zombies is back for its 5th instalment. Comig this april is a five-issue limited series courtesy of writer Fred Van Lente and artist Kano.
Quoted by Fred Van Lente
“What I’ve tried to do ever since they gave me the Zombies assignment was to do something different every time,” explains the writer. “Folks who read MARVEL ZOMBIES 4 know that at the end Jack Russell, Werewolf by Night, was infested with the zombie virus. Morbius the Living Vampire wants to cure his friend and in order to do that he needs to somehow figure out a way to unlock a cure for zombie-ism. He recruits his old pal Machine Man from MARVEL ZOMBIES 3, who is back and is again the star of the series, and sends him across the multiverse to take samples from different kinds of zombies.”
As mentioned earlier, zombie hunter and Agent of A.R.M.O.R. Aaron Stack returns as the central character of the title.
Since fighting off zombie hordes always proves tough work, a new companion joins Stack on his reality hopping adventure. Unfortunately, the identity of that individual remains a secret for now with Van Lente only revealing that the character will be someone well known in the Marvel Universe and someone he’s been dying to write. However, wanting to give fans a small sampler before the big buffet, the writer did let slip some info that should get a few spider senses tingling.
We can’t wait to see the next instalment of this acclaimed sereis. keep checking here at comics online for more info.

Here’s a first look at Iron Man’s new armor. Here’s a quote from Marvel.
“The inspiration for the new design came from thinking about a sleeker, leaner, tougher Iron Man,” revealed Fraction. “If technology is increasingly getting smaller and lighter it seems like the Iron Man should do the same: ergonomic and aerodynamic. We were looking for something that felt as sleek and glossy as a sports car Tony Stark would covet. I love what we’ve come up with. It feels like the next evolutionary step in the Iron Man’s design.”
The all-new Iron Man makes his debut in INVINCIBLE IRON MAN #25, on-sale this April!
Heres another great comic on offer for you. Brand new Detective Comics Batman issue #682 with embosed cover released in Feb of 1995. It’s Troika Part 3 to the Doomsday Clock story.
Romana and the KGBeast are all that is left of the Troika, and the Dark Rider’s nuclear device literally drops into the KGBeast’s hands. Romana, meanwhile, keeps up the pressure on Wayne Enterprises, so much so that Bruce Wayne arranges for Lucius Fox to get out of danger, and then goes after Romana that night is the guise of Batman. Robin tracks a fire at a Wayne Chemicals plant, discovering there the KGBeast, who shoots Harvey Bullock and then reveals that not only is the miniature nuclear device in his possession, but he also plans to use it.
This comic is great for any collector, great story and fascinating artwork, even though the comic is almost 15 years old it still stands up with the great comics of today. Some may be a little let down with the little amount of action featuring Batman but the story makes up for it. Like i said a must for any collector or fan of Batman. We rate it 4/5.
Here we have a great special for you, the first printing of the marvel zombies vs army of darkness series, the series is already in its 5th printing so getting your hands on this rare comic for this cheap is a must. This isssue is the first of 5 released in 2007, it follows ash from the famous army of darkness series, he is sent to a new reality and Along the way receives a prophecy warning him that “an army of the dead will rise” and that this world will fall.
He arrives in alternate marvel reality just as the outbreak begins (lucky him) and encounters many well known superheroes in there zombie form, any fans of the marvel zombies series will love this cross over. This first issue of the Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness series doesn’t let down in the action and ofcourse the gore, well known in the marvel zombies series. the comic also include homage to past marvel covers by zombifying them.
It fairs well against the other marvel zombies series with great artwork and an easy to follow story, after reading this i felt very similar to marvel zombies 1.
I rate it 3.5 out of 5. good artwork and story but repetative.
Try and catch the rest of the series and the other marvel zombies series as we post them. Or if you can’t wait, email us and we can get it for you.
Enjoy!
