An Interesting Preview…,
For decades, physicists have been attempting to discover the “unified field theory”, linking Newtonian and quantum physics. Now, from out of nowhere, some guy promises to rewrite the book on physics – and the scientific community is none-too-happy about it. What happens next? Who knows? That’s the danger in downloading a free “part 1″ comic.
Author/illustrator Jeff Thomason has created a well-written, mostly well-drawn (the detail in some of the panels was confusing) story – with lots of questions. The cliffhanger that gets resolved, this reader imagines, in Part 2, and the opening sequence, which hints at things as yet unexplained.
So, where to go from here? Turns out that Jeff Thomason is a confusingly prolific guy. Besides several other Wandering Koala and nonrelated tales, you can choose from Wandering Koala vs. The Scientific Method, Part 2 or, if you prefer a detailed novelization, The Scientific Method: a Wandering Koala tale.
If you like comics, and you’re a little on the nerdy side, you could do worse than get this FREE comic. Don’t be fooled by the file size – it’s short, just graphic heavy. The images don’t scale, and the font is a little small, which might be hard on some people’s eyes, but it’s pretty typical of comic book font.
